🌞 The Wait Is Over – Distance Has Arrived

IT’S HERE. 🖤

Our fourth album and our parting gift has officially landed — and what better way to release it than on a bright, sunny day.

If there’s one thing we can say… it’s definitely our most summery album yet.

It feels incredible to finally have Distance out in the world. Thank you to everyone who’s supported us on this journey — we hope you enjoy listening as much as we enjoyed making it.

Give it a spin, share it with your friends, and grab yourself a CD from our merch store while you’re there.

Koyo Bloom Share New Music Video for “Discipline”

Today we’re excited to release “Discipline”, the lead single from our upcoming album, alongside its music video.

We shot this with Joe Collinson, who you may remember from our videos for “Circles”, “Ostracised” and “Walking On Air”. We love a bit of consistency, and we love what he does. We’re super happy with how it’s turned out.

Check it out below!

Much love,
Koyo Bloom 🖤

Koyo Bloom Release New Single “Attention”

“Attention” was one of the earliest songs written for this chapter, originally taking shape during the You Said It sessions. It became the most celebrated track in our stripped-back sets and in-stores, and we always felt it deserved a proper recording.

Reworking it for Distance felt natural. It was the song that first sparked the vision for the album and ultimately became its emotional anchor.

Where Onism was about pushing ourselves to the edge — chasing heaviness, complexity, and breaking boundaries to the point of insanity — Distance explores a more delicate, tender side of us.

“Attention” lives in that tension between holding on and letting go, carrying the spirit of this new chapter: fully DIY, honest and unfiltered.

Koyo Bloom Release New Single “Distance”

“Distance” is our first release under our new name, Koyo Bloom, and the opening step into a new chapter for us. The song is a postcard to a past life, written from the road ahead.

It also marks a shift in how we’re moving forward as a band: fully DIY, writing, producing, recording and mixing everything ourselves. We want to stay closer to the spark, to make more music more often, and to focus on the parts of being in a band that feel alive.

This is the first taste of that energy: raw, personal and fully ours.

Introducing Koyo Bloom 🍃

Big news guys!

From here on out, we’d like you to call us by our new name, Koyo Bloom 🌸

This marks a new chapter for us and a shift in how we plan to move forward as a band. We’re gonna be more self-sufficient, more “DIY” 🔨

What do we mean by that?

More music. More often.

The past 9 months since we released 𝓞𝓷𝓲𝓼𝓶 have been a blast for us. We don't wanna spend another 2–3 years working towards our next release.

We just want to continue focusing our energy on the here and now — on the fun parts of being in a band above all else: writing, recording and playing live. To keep looking forward, not back.

Because otherwise, what’s the point?

And to put our money where our mouth is… we’ve just finished another album 🧐

Release date coming soon ⚡️

Thanks for all your support on our journey so far. Without KOYO, there would be no Koyo Bloom.

PS

We’re still syncing things up online, so please bear with us.

Koyo Bloom – Onism Tour Recap

In other news, we’re almost ready to announce what originally started out as the southern leg of our February tour. To be honest, though, it’s now turning into a tour where we’re just happy to play anywhere — north or south!
